Dr. Dima Khierbeck is a board-certified dermatologist and venereologist specializing in medical dermatology, skin surgery, aesthetic dermatology, and laser treatments. She has more than five years of clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of skin, hair, and nail disorders and in minimally invasive aesthetic procedures.
Dr. Khierbeck received her medical degree from the University of Damascus and completed her residency in dermatology and venereology in Damascus. She obtained her specialty board certification from the Syrian Commission for Medical Specialties. In parallel with her residency, she worked for five years as a general practitioner at a clinic for pulmonary and respiratory diseases in Damascus.
Following her certification, Dr. Khierbeck practised as a Specialist Dermatologist and Aesthetic Physician at the Dr. Ahmad Homsieh Beauty Clinic for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Damascus and established her own private practice. There she diagnosed and managed acute and chronic skin disease, sexually transmitted diseases, and disorders of the hair and nails, and performed more than 3,000 dermatological and aesthetic procedures. These included botulinum toxin and dermal filler injections, biostimulators, PRP, mesotherapy, exosome therapy, and skin boosters, as well as CO₂, Nd:YAG, and Alexandrite laser treatments. She also introduced several new aesthetic techniques into the practice.
Her areas of special interest include skin surgery, aesthetic dermatology, and hair and nail disorders. She is trained in basic and advanced life support and in trauma management. She is a member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), the Middle East International Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine Association (MEIDAM), the Arab Association of Surgical and Medical Aesthetics (AASMA), the Syrian Arab Society of Dermatology, and the Syrian Medical Association.
Dr. Khierbeck is fluent in Arabic and English, has advanced proficiency in German (C1) and intermediate proficiency in French and Turkish.
